Job Summary:
One of our clients are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in construction and project management to oversee and manage the company’s operational and project activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, within approved budgets and schedules, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities related to construction and project execution.
• Manage multiple projects and ensure they are delivered according to approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Develop and implement operational plans, procedures, and project execution strategies.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Review project schedules, budgets, manpower requirements, procurement activities, and resource allocation.
• Ensure effective coordination between construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, and support functions.
• Monitor project costs and ensure operations remain within approved budgets.
• Review project performance reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable construction standards, company policies, contractual requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, clients, and other key stakeholders.
• Resolve operational and project-related issues and escalate critical matters when required.
• Support tendering, project mobilization, and resource planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, cost control, and project performance.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and close-out of projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to project and operational teams.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong and proven background in construction and project management.
• Significant experience managing construction projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience in project planning, execution, cost control, scheduling, and resource management.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
