Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for a Technical Professional Engineer III (Electrical) to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities
• Establishes designs and performance specifications to fulfill the requirements of assigned general specifications for components, systems, processes, etc
• Reviews vendor documents
• Active participation in design reviews
• Monitors construction activities, electrical installations and testing activities.
• Witnessing contractors’ quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent
• Works are constructed according to the applicable codes, standards, and approved
• Drawings and specifications and any associated HSE standards and or requirements.
• Attends site/office meetings with the contractors and prepares reports/minutes on the meetings and or reports.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Engineering / Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Discipline
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role with construction/ PMC
• Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles calculation methods, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications
• With mix of experience on standalone and a portfolio project is desirable
