Role Description The Orthodontist Specialist / Consultant will provide comprehensive orthodontic assessments, diagnose malocclusions and related conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing clinical examinations, interpreting radiographs and dental records, applying and adjusting orthodontic appliances, and monitoring treatment progress. The role also involves counseling patients and families on treatment options, oral hygiene related to orthodontic care, and expected outcomes, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to infection control and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Dima Dental Center in Riyadh, requiring close collaboration with other dental professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Medicine and Dentistry, with the ability to integrate general health considerations into orthodontic treatment planning.
• Advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in Orthodontics, including diagnosis, appliance selection, and long-term case management.
• Proficiency in Treatment planning and delivery, including clinical examination, radiographic interpretation, and evidence-based decision making.
• Commitment to high-quality Dental Care, with attention to patient comfort, safety, and long-term oral health outcomes.
• Recognized dental degree and specialized postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics; valid license or eligibility to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical orthodontic practice, preferably in a multidisciplinary or specialty dental center.
• Clear, empathetic communication skills, with the ability to explain complex treatment plans to patients of different ages and backgrounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team, maintain detailed records, and follow clinic policies and quality standards.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advances in orthodontic techniques and materials.
• Being a citizen is mandatory.
