Project Overview
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.
The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah - Riyadh highway.
Job Summary
The CBL Coordinator facilitates the behavioral based program that uses observation and constructive feedback to assist support the project to be successful in controlling the risk of harm to people.
Major Responsibilities
• Develops and delivers a CBL program aligned to the culture and capabilities of workers
• Evolves and adapts the CBL program through the project stages
• Guides the CBL team to deliver observations, develop actions and communicate outcomes
• Develops and delivers a CBL training program for all levels of the project
• Actively supports observers in the implementation of the CBL program
• Monitors the implementation of the CBL program and reports successes and areas of improvement
• Openly communicates with field leaders and Project ESH Manager on CBL matters
• Maintains a working relationship with observers, field leaders and other CBL team members
• Participates in observer meetings to identify and action CBL requirements
• Completes or monitors CBL data entry and the development of data reports
• Reviews reports for quality of observations
• Maintains CBL reports and records
Education And Experience Requirements
• Bachelor degree or higher in an ESH or training/education or behavior discipline.
• NEBOSH certification
• 6 to 9 years of a behavior based program in the industrial construction or heavy engineering industry
• 2+ years of experience directly supervising a team of professionals
Required Knowledge And Skills
• Professional skill set to deliver quality outputs of a behavior based program
• High level of written and verbal communication
• Attributes that openly display ESH as a personal value
• Ability to priorities tasks to meet deadlines, targets and objectives
