Health, Safety, Environment Officer - Redsand
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
About the Role
You'll be responsible for implementing our Health, Safety & Environment Management System on-site, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, company standards, and ISO 45001 & 14001, while helping build a strong safety culture across the workforce.
What You'll Do
• Implement and monitor the HSE Management System at site level.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe conditions or practices.
• Perform risk assessments and support the development of safe work procedures.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness sessions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, and prepare root cause analysis reports.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.
• Maintain HSE documentation in line with ISO 45001, 14001, and local regulations.
• Support emergency preparedness planning and drills.
• Report on HSE performance to management.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional HSE certification (NEBOSH IGC or equivalent).
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
• 5–7 years of HSE experience in the construction industry.
• Strong grounding in risk assessment, incident investigation, and legal compliance.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a site environment.
