Position Summary

The Quality, Lean & HSE Specialist is responsible for implementing, leading and coordinating Quality, Lean/Continuous improvement, and Health, Safety & Environment activities across the Saudi manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture through visible floor presence, coaching, employee engagement and proactive hazard recognition.

• Lead on quality standards, ensuring manufacturing meets appropriate local standards and requirements.

• Drive Health and Safety and Environment performance and EHS Training programmes for employees, ensuring compliance to regulatory standards.

• Provide Technical and Quality Management expertise

• Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions.

• Work to develop, implement and maintain EHS policies, programs, and procedures to assure personnel safety

• Perform safety audits, inspections and investigations of work environments, processes, and operations in compliance with government regulations and industry standards and corporate and divisional procedures.

• Maintain required permits, records and reports to ensure audit and regulatory readiness

• Support warranty monitoring and control by providing technical support to warranty manager as well as cost estimates for completion of any warranty actions.

• Monitor team performance for estimating cost of issues at resolution stage.

• Implement EHS, Quality and LEAN standards

• Reduce workplace injuries, near misses and unsafe conditions through prevention- focused programs

• Complete timely incident investigations and drive closure of corrective and preventative actions.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators.

• Maintain accurate and audit ready documentation and reports inn readiness for internal, external or regulatory audits or inspections.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education meeting minimum requirements

• Qualifications in Health & Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.

• Experience supporting or leading:

• Local legislative standards for manufacturing,

• internal and external audits,

• contractor management,

• permit-to-work systems,

• behavioural safety initiatives,

• emergency preparedness and response.

• Excellent communication skills (ability to relate to staff of all levels / disciplines).

• Team player with ability to positively influence others.

• Strong working knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental legislation

• Proven ability to identify hazards, assess risk, and implement effective control measures.

• Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.

• Ability to develop and review risk assessments, safe systems of work, and operational procedures.

• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.

• Ability to deliver training, toolbox talks, and practical safety guidance to operational teams.
