Role Description The Civil Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Medina, responsible for supervising and coordinating daily civil construction activities on site. The role includes organizing work crews, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to specifications and quality standards. The Civil Foreman oversees the use of heavy equipment, materials, and tools; inspects work for compliance with plans; and reports site status to project engineers or site managers. Daily responsibilities also involve resolving on-site issues, supporting maintenance of equipment and temporary works, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies. The position requires active presence on site, effective communication with workers and subcontractors, and consistent documentation of work performed.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in rebar fixing, formwork, and concrete works.
• Ability to read structural drawings and supervise site execution.
• Experience supervising workers and ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ability to inspect reinforcement, formwork, levels, and dimensions before concrete pouring.
• Good knowledge of construction quality standards and site safety requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with site engineers and meet project schedules.
• Good English communication skills are mandatory, including an understanding of technical construction terminology.
• A diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical qualification is preferred.
