🚀 IT Engineer (IT Systems & Infrastructure)
Location: KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

As an IT Engineer, you will maintain, optimize, and support our logical and physical network and system infrastructure across our KSA sites We seek candidates with strong hands-on technical skills and proven execution capabilities across
• Enterprise Networking & CCNA: LAN/WAN, Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and secure VPNs
• System Administration: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Linux, and Microsoft 365
• AWS Cloud Platform: EC2, S3, VPC management, security groups, and cloud system support
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and backup management
• IT Security: Endpoint protection, firewall policies, access management, and compliance support
🎯 What You'll Do
Enterprise Networking & CCNA Infrastructure
• Support, configure, and manage multi-site LAN/WAN networks across regional offices
• Configure and administer Cisco routers, Cisco switches, and security gateways
• Manage Enterprise Firewalls, specifically Fortinet, Sophos, and PFSense
• Implement network configurations including VLANs, basic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Quality of Service (QoS), and network segmentation
• Set up and maintain secure VPN connections: Site-to-Site VPNs, client-to-site VPNs, and AWS Client VPNS
• Maintain network security protocols by managing Access Control Lists (ACLs), IDS/IPS settings, and firewall filtering rules
• Deploy and monitor network health using tools like Zabbix, PRTG, and ManageEngine, carrying out capacity planning and resolving network bottlenecks
System Administration & Server Management
• Administrate Windows Server environments: Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DHCP, DNS, and Domain Controllers
• Maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) including configuration, OS hardening, and command-line shell scripting
• Support the Microsoft 365 suite, focusing on Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, user account management, and security
• Ensure the high availability of critical business systems and local infrastructure
• Perform scheduled backups, carry out disaster recovery procedures, execute security patching, and run performance optimization
AWS Cloud Technologies
• Deploy, scale, and manage day-to-day AWS cloud infrastructure
• EC2 virtual servers, Auto Scaling groups, and Elastic Load Balancers
• S3 secure cloud storage, configuring lifecycle policies and general access controls
• VPC configuration, subnets, routing tables, and security groups
• IAM accounts, user policies, and role execution
• Basic administration of RDS databases
• AWS resources monitoring via CloudWatch and Systems Manager
• Maintain hybrid cloud environments connecting physical on-premises network systems to AWS VPCs
• Assist in cloud migrations from regional on-premises structures to AWS deployments
• Implement cloud security policies using Security Groups, NACLs, VPC flow logs, and IAM controls
• Monitor cloud alerts and participate in cost-optimization tasks
VMware & Virtualization Management
• Maintain VMware vSphere components, including ESXi hosts and vCenter server environments
• Oversee VM lifecycle activities, run standard migrations (vMotion, Storage vMotion), and manage HA/DRS settings
• Provide basic administration of Hyper-V virtualization platforms and local failover clustering
• Keep virtualization systems integrated with AWS cloud resources and manage complete backup solutions via Veeam
IT Security & Compliance
• Maintain network security, VPN access security, and safe local network segmentation
• Deploy endpoint protection solutions, Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools, and access management
• Assist in vulnerability scanning/remediation and support core compliance requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR)
• Participate in security incident response actions and active log monitoring
Automation & IT Operations Support
• Automate recurring operational tasks using command-line scripts: PowerShell, Bash, and AWS CLI
• Assist local systems, solve technical issues, track network SLAs, and coordinate with vendors
• Document network diagrams, system changes, policies, and procedural guides
🧑💻 What We're Looking For
Experience:
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in IT, specifically covering CCNA-level networking, system administration, and virtualization
• Solid operational background within corporate environments or mid-sized IT offices
• In-depth setup experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
• Prior workspace experience in KSA/GCC regions is preferred
Technical Expertise (Mandatory):
• Networking & CCNA: TCP/IP stack, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANS, VPNs (IPSec, SSL), Cisco equipment configuration, Fortinet/Sophos firewalls, and network management tools (PRTG, Zabbix)
• System Administration: Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), CLI scripting, Microsoft 365, exchange online
• AWS Cloud Services: EC2, S3, VPC design, IAM configuration, cloud security groups, and hybrid VPN connections
• VMware & Virtualization: VMware vSphere ESXi, vCenter, VM builds, Hyper-V, and Veeam backup technology
• IT Security: Firewall rules, access control, endpoint security tools, and backup/disaster recovery workflows
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related sector.
• Required Certifications:
• Cisco CCNA (Routing & Switching / Security) - Mandatory
• Fortinet NSE or network security certification is a strong plus
• AWS Solutions Architect (Associate) or SysOps Administrator (Preferred)
• Microsoft 365 Certified or VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional) (Preferred).
