Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with company EHSS policies, procedures, and applicable safety regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and HSE audits.
• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement safety procedures and preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards.
• Coordinate emergency response plans, fire safety inspections, and evacuation drills.
• Conduct EHSS training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems.
• Maintain EHSS records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of EHSS experience in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, or related biosafety industry.
• OSHA certification or equivalent occupational health and safety certification.
• Strong knowledge of EHSS regulations, risk assessments, and incident investigation procedures.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
