About the Opportunity
An established Saudi organisation operating across heavy equipment, transportation, logistics, and industrial support services is seeking an experienced Tire Specialist to join its equipment and fleet operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically knowledgeable Saudi professional to take responsibility for tire inventory control, consumption monitoring, and tire management across a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and light vehicles.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting equipment availability, controlling operational costs, and improving tire utilisation across multiple projects and operational locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor tire inventory across central warehouse facilities and project sites.
• Inspect incoming tires to verify quantities, specifications, sizes, condition, and manufacturing dates.
• Control tire issuance against approved Work Orders (WO) and equipment identification or Door Numbers.
• Ensure old tires are returned and documented against every new tire issued, in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate ERP records for tire receiving, issuance, transfers, and returns.
• Monitor tire consumption across different equipment types, projects, and operating conditions.
• Analyse abnormal tire consumption and support initiatives to reduce unnecessary replacement costs.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and reorder points to prevent operational shortages.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
• Coordinate with Maintenance teams to ensure correct tire selection and specifications for different equipment applications.
• Monitor damaged, used, and scrap tires and support warranty claims with suppliers and Procurement.
• Prepare regular reports covering tire inventory, consumption trends, returns, and replacement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with tire storage, handling, and workplace safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a technical, logistics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tire management, preferably within heavy equipment, transportation, contracting, or fleet operations.
• Strong technical understanding of tire types, sizes, specifications, and applications across heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and light vehicles.
• Practical experience in tire inventory management, inspection, issuance, and consumption analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of tire wear, replacement requirements, storage conditions, and safety procedures.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, and operational teams.
