Your Role
As Operations Lead, you'll set up and run the operating model of a new digital asset business from the ground up. Your job is to translate business and compliance requirements into processes that are clear, efficient, and built to scale. You'll design how things work, own how they run, and roll up your sleeves during the early manual phase, working side by side with Compliance, Finance, and Technology while building the team that will take operations forward.
The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is open to candidates based in the GCC who are willing to relocate.
A few examples of your responsibilities
• Map out operational workflows, procedures, responsibilities, and escalation paths
• Orchestrate customer onboarding, transaction processing, and operational follow-up across internal teams and external providers
• Put operational procedures and controls into practice alongside the Compliance Officer and Financial Controller
• Set and monitor service levels, KPIs, and operational controls, and chair governance meetings on performance, risks, and open items
• Handle incidents and exceptions, coordinating their resolution with Finance, Compliance, and Technology
• Run early manual operations directly while pinpointing automation priorities and future team needs
• Hire, train, manage, and develop the operations team
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
• Solid background in operations within financial services, fintech, payments, or investment
• Proven experience leading operational activities and building or redesigning processes from scratch
• Working knowledge of customer onboarding, KYC/AML workflows, and transaction operations
• Experience setting SLAs, KPIs, and operational controls
• Track record of managing operational risk and prioritising issues across multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English

• Experience in a business launch, start-up, or transformation programme
